On January 8 and 9, 2024, the representative of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, Elder Metropolitan Emmanuel of Chalcedon, visited Poland.
During his stay, the Metropolitan paid a fraternal visit to Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and all Poland, greeting the head of the Church on behalf of the Ecumenical Patriarch on the occasion of the Nativity of Christ and the upcoming name day. During the meeting, the hierarchs discussed the current situation of Christianity in the world and exchanged views on the problems that currently affect the Orthodox Church.
