In an interview for the website nv.ua, Metropolitan Epiphanius of Kiev and all Ukraine referred to the machinations of the Church of Russia, stressing that it is trying to hit our internal affairs.
The Primate of the Autocephalous Church of Ukraine explained that, although there was no direct threat, external forces intervened in the domestic affairs of Ukraine.
Metropolitan Epiphanius also said he had no communication with the Church of Ukraine of the Patriarchate of Moscow.
As he stressed, “After the granting of Tomos, I have no communication. In fact, they have no desire to engage in dialogue, whereas I am willing to do so.”
Metropolitan Epiphanius also said he was ready to talk to the Church of Ukraine of the Patriarchate of Moscow, “for the sake of good order and unity of Orthodox churches.”
