Metropolitan Epifaniy will officiate the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Lavra Kyiv at Christmas

Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine will celebrate the Divine Liturgy for the feast of Christmas at the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos in Lavra of Kyiv.

According to a statement on the website of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, the authorities of the country gave permission for the celebration of the Divine Liturgy following a request previously sent to the Ministry of Culture and Political Information of Ukraine.

The Orthodox Church of Ukraine announced that the Liturgy is going to start at 9:00 a.m. and invites the faithful to come and pray together.
