Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine performed a Trisagion service in memory of Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus at St. Michael’s Cathedral in Kyiv.
In the announcement of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, it is noted that “Archbishop Chrysostomos served God with zeal and worked not only for his flock locally, but also for the whole of Orthodoxy, and its unity.
He even contributed to the historical decision to recognize our Orthodox Church (Ukraine) as an Autocephalous Church.
May God rest the soul of Archbishop Chrysostomos. May his memory be eternal”.
