Metropolitan Ioannis of Thermopylae and Abbot of the Monastery of Penteli, accompanied by Archim. Dionysios Hamarakis from Rethymnon, presided over the Divine Liturgy and offered a memorial service for the 40 days since the passing way of late Archbishop Stylianos of Australia at the historic former Metropolitan Cathedral of Agia Irini in Aiolou Street, Athens.
Many faithful from Rethymon attended the service to pray for the repose of the soul of the late Archbishop of Australia, after a call by the Rethymnian Association in Attica “To Arkadi”, at the request of his relatives.
