In March 1924, the Holy Archdiocese of Australia was established by the late Patriarch Gregory VII of Constantinople and the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, marking a century of profound impact, dedication, and witness in Australia.
To commemorate this significant milestone, and with the gracious approval of Archbishop Makarios of Australia, the Holy Archdiocese is pleased to announce the organization of a special musical event titled: “In Honor and Memory – 100 Years of the Holy Archdiocese of Australia.” The event will take place at the prestigious Sydney Town Hall on Friday, March 22, starting at 6:30 p.m.
Under the direction of esteemed composer Mr. Leonidas Vitogiannis, the evening will feature a captivating musical concert. Admission to this event is free and open to all.
We extend a heartfelt invitation to all members of the Greek expatriate community to join us in commemorating this momentous occasion for the Holy Archdiocese of Australia with their presence. Let us come together to celebrate a century of faith, service, and enduring legacy.
