The Romanian delegation to Jerusalem has received the Holy Fire and it is headed to Bucharest by plane. This 12 yr old tradition of bringing the Holy Fire to all parishes in the country will continue following special conditions, this year.
Orthodox Romanian believers will not be able to attend church service tonight, due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions. Priests, accompanied by 5 volunteers each, will deliver the Holy Light at home, across the country, starting 8 p.m. local time.
