“Turkey’s knee-jerk reactions following the European Council meeting and the visit of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias to Armenia and Iraq show that they reached a stalemate due to their own choices,” Greek Foreign Affairs Ministry’s spokesman Alexandros Gennimatas said when he answered a journalist’s question regarding yesterday’s statements that were made by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He further pointed out, “As for their outrageous claim that [Turkey] is a common denominator for the solution of all problems in the region, it would be appropriate to confirm it with the countries in the region that probably deem [Turkey] as a common denominator of their problems.”
