Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias and his visiting Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto signed a memorandum of cooperation between the diplomatic academies of Greece and Hungary on Friday.
The two ministers also discussed migration in view of recent developments in Afghanistan.
“Greece will not accept any attempt of instrumentalization of migration,” Dendias noted and called on Turkey to respect the EU-Turkey declaration on the matter.
Commenting on the recent Greece-France defense agreement, Szijjarto said that “it is purely a defense agreement, and it is not directed against anyone,” adding that “it promotes European defense, and is in line with our commitments to NATO, something that was also recognized by the American side.”
