On Friday, March 19, 2021, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kostas Vlasis visited the Theological School of Halki.
Kostas Vlasis was accompanied by the Greek Ambassador to Ankara, M. Diamesi, and the Consul General of Constantinople, G. Sultanopoulou.
The Greek officials were received by Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, who guided them to the facilities of the Theological School.
Kostas Vlasis mentioned on social media the importance of the reopening of the School, which “is a constant request of both the Ecumenical Patriarchate and of Greece, as it is a lighthouse and a cultural and historical monument”.
