Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiated at the first Supplicatory Canon to the Most Holy Theotokos which took place in the afternoon on Tuesday, 1 August 2023.
On the morning of the same day, the feast of Saint Solomone, whose holy relics are kept in the Venerable Patriarchal Church, the Ecumenical Patriarch was present in prayer during the Divine Liturgy, which was celebrated by Metropolitan Theoliptos of Iconium.
Metropolitan Stephanos of Kallioupolis and Madytos, Metropolitan Athenagoras of Kydonia, Bishop Paisios of Xanthoupolis and many faithful from Constantinople and overseas were also present also for the feast day liturgy.
On the Eve of the Feast Day, Metropolitan Theoliptos of Iconium officiated at the Great Vespers.
