The Archbishop Makarios of Nairobi is performing at the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas in Namungoona, the enthronement of the new Metropolitan of Kampala, Jeronymos.
Earlier, Archbishop Makarios presided over the service, as the representative of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, along side Metropolitan Innocentios Byakatonda of Burundi and Rwanda, Bishop Silvester Kisitu of Jinja and Bishop Nektarios Kabuye of Gulu.
His Eminence Metropolitan Jeronymos received a Landcruiser V8 as a gift by the president of Uganda, HE Yoweri Museveni, presented by the vice president, HE Major Jessica Alupo.
