The Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain Nikitas visited the Community of the Holy Archangels in Margate, on Saturday, February 19, in memory of Saint Philothei of Athens.

The Dean Vissarion Kokliotis, the Dean Christodoulos Kokliotis, the Presbyter Fr. John Garnett, the new Presbyter Fr. David Gillchrist and the Archdeacon George Tsourous co-celebrated with the Archbishop.
The ordinand addressed an emotional speech to the Archbishop Nikitas, thanking both him and Fr. Vissarion for the support and spiritual guidance, as well as thanking the whole community.
The Archbishop of Thyateira and Great Britain praised Fr. David for his virtuous ministry and stressed the need for new indigenous believers to attend the ministry and the clergy of the Orthodox Church in the United Kingdom.
At the meal that followed, the Archbishop had the opportunity to talk to the faithful, young people and children of the community.
