On Saturday, June 29, at 11.00 am at the Holy Cathedral of the “Annunciation of the Theotokos,” the Enthronement of the new Primate, Archbishop Makarios of Australia, will take place.
Archbishop Makarios is the 6th Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia.
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia invites all the faithful to attend the enthronement, as “it is the duty of every Orthodox Christian to be present at this historical and sacred event.”
The announcement of the Australian Archdiocese underlines that “It is important for our children to witness this historic and memorable day for our Church in Australia.”
