“We are going through an extremely critical week, the most critical of our efforts,” stressed the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management, Nikos Chardalias, during today’s briefing on coronavirus matters.
He made clear that our choices in the coming days would determine how quickly “we can get our lives back.” In this context, he recommended that we should remain prudent and resolute over the next 24 hours.
He reiterated that No movement was permitted to visit relatives and friends’ houses on Holy Saturday or Resurrection Sunday. “Neither the relatives nor the whole neighborhood will gather to the rooftops, it is extremely dangerous,” he said.
He also informed that the cemeteries throughout the country would remain closed on Holy Friday.
