The Patron Saint-day of the Church of Saint Panteleimon in Bijeljina was solemnly celebrated with the Holy Hierarchical Liturgy officiated by Bishop Fotije of Zvornik-Tuzla.
After the Holy Liturgy, Bishop Fotije awarded the Order of Saint Sava of the second degree to Ljubo Stevic for his great contribution to the renovation and construction of shrines in the Diocese of Zvornik-Tuzla.
On that occasion, Bishop Fotije emphasized the importance of unity and awareness of preserving the endowment spirit that the holy Nemanjics planted in the Serbian people.
After the slava procession around the church, the slava cake of the godfather of the gathering, Slobodan Glamocic, President of the Church Community. The godfather for the next year will be the mayor of Bijeljina, Ljubisa Petrovic.
