The Fathers of the Church of Saint Fanourios in Ilion under the jurisdiction of the Ecclesiastical Orphanage of Vouliagmeni of the Archdiocese of Athens, Fr. Nicholas Vlavianos (Chief of the temple) and Fr. Christos Vlachos (Spiritual father of the temple), accompanied by the Protosyncellus of the Archdiocese of Athens, Bishop Symeon of Thespies, held a visit to the summer camps organized the Holy Archdiocese of Athens. The summer camps activities will take place in the “Agia Filothei” Center for Education, Culture and Volunteerism in Avlona, Attica.
Bishop Symeon conveyed to the children the wishes of Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece and talked about the vision and the work of the Archbishop regarding the summer camps.
He also referred to the relation between the Church of St. Fanourios and the Center for Education, Culture and Volunteerism, since the ongoing work of the Church of St. Fanourios for many years focuses on the spiritual and financial support of this important structure of the Archdiocese.
Bishop Symeon then presented the work carried out by the Archdiocese in the Center and showed how warmly the Archbishop received it.
