A memorial service was held yesterday at the Archdiocesan Chapel of St. Paul for the victims of the train accident in Tempi, Greece.
The memorial service took place after the pre-sanctified Divine Liturgy, officiated by Bishop Athenagoras of Nazianzos, Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod.
Bishop Athenagoras said a prayer for the health of the injured and for the families grieving the loss of their loved ones and conveyed Archbishop Elpidophoros’s wishes for the health of the survivors and the repose of the souls of the victims.
