On Saturday, March 4, 2023, with the blessings of Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, Bishop Apostolos of Medeia visited the parish of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Westfield, NJ, for their annual GOYA Sights and Sounds Festival.
This festival showcases the talents of the GOYAns from across the Northern New Jersey Region of the Metropolis of New Jersey in categories such as oil painting, singing, monologuing, Greek theatrical performances, digital art, and Greek folk dancing. Bishop Apostolos of Medeia conveyed the paternal love and blessings of His Eminence to the chairs of the event, Peter and Sandy Boutsikaras, Fr. Peter Delvizis, the proistamenos of Holy Trinity in Westfield, NJ, all of the organizers, advisors, and participants of this wonderful event, and congratulated the participants for their many artistic achievements and performances, and encouraged them to continue pursuing their artistic dreams and to continually grow in the faith, especially during this Lenten season.
