The Chairman of the Bank’s Board of Directors, Konstantinos Mitropoulos, and the CEO, Theodoros Pantalakis, visited today Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and informed him how they will support the Archdiocese’s work. The General Director of the “Apostoli” NGO, Kostis Dimtsas, also attended the meeting.
Pantalakis said that they planned to open a bank account to which an amount would be deposited by the bank and the members of the BoD and then they would ask the Greek people to contribute financially to the homeless support program of the “Apostoli” NGO.
“It is time for us all to do our best to make progress in this difficult time, a way out for our fellow human beings and a support for the state,” said the Archbishop while highlighting the need for co-operation. In addition, the Archbishop referred to the important work carried out by the “Apostoli” NGO and to the other support structures of the Archdiocese while sending a message of optimism underlining that together we will win this fight.
