A large group of Archons of the Throne from the Metropolis of Chicago and other areas of the United States of America visited the Holy Theological School of Halki yesterday, Thursday, August 3, 2023, accompanied by young people. The new generation of the Greek Diaspora got to know the history of the Theological School of Halki as well as its contribution.
The Abbot, Bishop Kassianos of Arabissos, along with the brotherhood, welcomed everybody. During his greeting at the Great Synodikon of the School, he spoke about its history, its importance for the Ecumenical Patriarchate but also about the suspension of its operation 52 years ago.
Also, the visitors were guided to the library, the classrooms, the chapel, and the other rooms of the School, and then they attended a luncheon.
