The Patriarchate of Jerusalem made an announcement about the passing of Archimandrite Theodoritos Kapae, Hegoumen of the Holy Monastery of Saint Simeon Katamon.
He passed away on Wednesday,February 7th, 2024, at 10 o’clock at night. His Memorial Service will take place at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 8, 2024, in the chapel of Saint Thekla, inside the Central Monastery, under the supervision of Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem.

The Holy Sepulchre Brotherhood regretfully announces the departure to the Lord of its chosen member, the Hegoumen of the Holy Monastery of Saint Simeon Katamon., Archimandrite Theodoritos Kapae, a native of Cyprus, slept in the Lord on Wednesday, January 25th / February 7th, 2024 at 10 o’clock at night.
His Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, January 26/February 8, 2024 in the chapel of Saint Thekla, inside the Central Monastery, presided over by His Beatitude our Father and Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos.
