On the morning of Monday the 15th of July, 2024, the Minister of Telecommunications of Serbia, Mr Dejan Ristić visited Patriarch Theophilos of Jerusalem, accompanied by members of the Ministry.
This delegation asked for the Patriarch’s prayers and blessings for the peace and prosperity of Serbia in its sensitive geographical position under the current political developments.
Patriarch Theophilos replied to the Minister that He prays for the country and the people of Serbia, being aware of its problems, like those of Kosovo and Montenegro. He also prays for the unity of the Orthodox Churches. Patriarch Theophilos offered the visitors a silver painting of Jerusalem and asked them to convey to the Patriarch of Serbia Porphyrios, His invitation to visit the Holy Land.
