An Archieratic co-liturgy was held on Palm Sunday in the Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamon, by Metropolitan George and guest Archbishop Job of Telmessos, prelate of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
After the end of the Divine Liturgy, the procession of the image of the Entry into Jerusalem followed and the palm leaves were blessed, within the Holy Temple.
The Metropolitan in his speech stressed the value of the Holy Week, saying that the celebration of the Passion and the Resurrection of Christ should not be limited to the customary or emotional character but should extend to an experiential situation that can give the modern man a way out of the spiritual and moral crisis he faces, as well as the prospect of the Resurrection.
