Around 30 tons of food aid and products of necessity arrived in Ukraine on Tuesday as part of Suceava Archdiocese’s assistance to help the victims affected by war.

The help was possible thanks to the hierarchs, clergy, and believers of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Radauti.

Donations were also made by other dioceses in Romania and abroad and by individuals and legal entities.

Earlier, the Archdiocese of Suceava and Radauti assisted Ukrainian refugees with about 18 tons of food, hygiene items, and blankets.

In order to help the victims of the war, two permanent reception centers were organized in Suceava County: one at Siret Customs and the other at Burdujeni Railway Station in Suceava.

The refugees receive spiritual assistance, food, transport, and accommodation 24 hours a day in the two locations mentioned.

Four collection points were organized in Suceava to manage donations for Ukrainians: at St Leontius Children’s Settlement in Rădăuți, in Siret, at Sihăstria Putnei Monastery, and in Fălticeni.

Anyone who wishes to help can donate to the following bank accounts of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Radauti (with a payment note “Support refugees Ukraine”):

EURO: RO78 RNCB 0234 0370 1091 0110
RON: RO51 RNCB 0234 0370 1091 0014
