On Sunday, February 13, Archbishop Nikitas presided over the Parish feast of Saint Charalambos in Luton (St Charalambos Greek Orthodox Church).
Presbyter David Somallis and the Archdeacon George Tsouros concelebrated.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the Archbishop ordained three Readers who manning the Church, Christian Botezatu, Christinel Herman and Fiorin Stefan.
The Archbishop awarded an honorary diploma to Anna Griffiths for her unpaid contribution to the parish and on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Community.
Then the Archbishop inaugurated a nearby hall of the parish where a meal was served in a festive atmosphere. At the dinner that followed, the Archbishop had the opportunity to talk to the faithful, young people and children of the community.
