Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus returned to Cyprus yesterday, May 31, 2021, after a successful medical intervention in Carolina Medical Center in North Carolina.
According to the physicians in charge, the intervention was the radioembolization of the remaining tumors in the liver. As the physicians stated, the Archbishop’s health condition is improving in comparison to the last examinations.
Today, the Archbishop returned to his duties in the Archdiocese and a sanctification rite took place for the beginning of the month.
