In his letter, Ieronymos stresses that the interest in the health of the respected predecessor of the Patriarch remains undiminished and, for this reason, the Holy Archdiocese of Athens insists on its willingness to do whatever its present needs require so as to address this issue”.
Indeed, His Beatitude Archbishop Ieronymos on Friday, August 9, received at the Archdiocese of Athens the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Expatriate Greeks Mr. Antonis Diamataris.
Mr. Diamataris emphasized that the Ministry’s services do everything in its power to provide the necessary diplomatic documents to former Patriarch Irenaios so that he can come to Greece as soon as possible.
