In a letter sent on May 13, 2019 to the Patriarch John of Antioch, Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and All Greece expressed his deep regret for the terrorist attack at the Holy Temple of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul of the Patriarchate and the fatal injury of eight children at the Sunday school.
As Ieronymos says in his letter, “Once again, we see the tragic effects of religious hatred that blinds the human mind and makes man desperate, capable of spreading death and sorrow.”
