Archbishop Elpidophoros of America concluded his four-day visit to Mount Athos, marking a meaningful journey that included visits to several monasteries.
Accompanied by a delegation of forty Greek-American businessmen from the USA, the Archbishop explored the spiritual and cultural richness of the Xenophontos, Simon Petra, Filotheou, Karakallou, and Pantokratoros monasteries.
The morning commenced with a visit to the cell of St. Anne, a significant site on Mount Athos, before the Archbishop and his delegation set sail for Ouranoupolis by boat.
Upon departing Mount Athos, Archbishop Elpidophoros is set to continue his travels, heading to Thessaloniki in the afternoon. Starting from the following day, he will engage in a series of meetings with distinguished institutional figures throughout the week.
