Archbishop Anastasios of Albania was invited to an event organized by European Union Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca, the Europe Day celebrations in Tirana.
President of Albania, Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Edi Rama, Chairman of the Parliament of Albania Gramoz Ruçi, ministers, politicians, religious leaders were some of the attendants of the event that took place in the Presidential Palace on the Europe Day celebration.
The EU Ambassador emphasized the desire of the Albanians, and especially of the new generation, for Albania to join the European Union. He also mentioned that this desire was also an urgent need and Albania should not miss this opportunity.
