Archbishop Anastasios of Albania congratulated the newly enthroned Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria.
In his message, the Archbishop of Albania emphasized, “We are convinced that with the many talents given to you, your piety, excellent theological education, discerning prudence and pastoral sensitivity, you will lead the dear Bulgarian people to spiritual progress and fruitfulness, while strengthening the unity of Orthodoxy and its dynamic testimony in today’s suffering society”.
As a symbolic memento of the election and enthronement, the Archbishop of Albania gifted the new Patriarch Daniel of Bulgaria the icon of the Resurrection of Christ.
