The graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, as well as an opening ceremony to welcome freshers, took place on October 22, 2019, at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
The two events were held at the library of the Faculty of Orthodox Theology. Protopresbyterian Apostolos Malamousis and many new students attended the ceremony.
The Dean and President of the Faculty, Professor Konstantinos Nikolakopoulos, welcomed everyone who attended the ceremony and asked the Protopresbyterian, Apostolos Malamousis (Ecumenical Patriarchate), to wish all the best in German and the Russian, Protopresbyterian Dionysij Idawain (Patriarchate of Moscow), to do the same in Russian.
In his speech, he said that even though the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Patriarchate of Moscow had been facing a relationship crisis, the fact that the two clergymen attended the ceremony was very important. He added that the mission of the Faculty of Theology of the University of Munich was to unite and to solve differences whatever they may be.
