Metropolitan Epifaniy of Kyiv and All Ukraine visited Ivano-Frankivsk, a city in western Ukraine.
There, during a visit to King Daniel’s University, the Metropolitan of Ukraine became an honorary doctor.
He was accompanied by Metropolitan Iosaf of Ivano-Frankivsk and Galicia and Bishop Pavlo of Khmelnytsky and Kamyanets-Podilskyi.
During his visit to the university, Epifaniy participated in the University initiative “Open meeting with successful people”, where he had the opportunity to talk to young people about issues that concern the youth in our time.
“I always want to set the bar high, where it seems impossible to achieve. Then there is the mood to move on, do what we can, or perfect ourselves.
And maybe then one day, with the help of God, you will find that this bar, that you set is absolutely desirable for you”, said among other things Metropolitan Epifaniy in his discussion with the young people.
During the graduation ceremony of the students, Metropolitan Epifaniy awarded the graduates with their degrees as well as the Rector of the University with the distinction of “Saint Archangel Michael II degree”.
