Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias will travel to Sochi on Monday morning, May 24, to meet his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.
The two ministers are expected to focus on bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as regional developments.
After the end of the contacts, there will be joint statements around 13:20. Following the bilateral contacts, the minister will take a tour of the Sirius Training Center in Sochi.
Afterwards, the foreign minister will travel to Anapa and Gelendzhik, cities on the northern Black Sea coast with a lasting Greek presence. The minister will participate in events on May 23-24 and will hold a series of meetings with prominent Diaspora Greeks, representatives of Diaspora Greek communities, local officials and businesspeople.
