In a post on social media, Archbishop Elpidophoros of America referred to the great feast of Orthodoxy, the Sunday of Orthodoxy.
As he notes, “On this Sunday of Orthodoxy, we pray from the Phanar, the Sacred Center of Orthodoxy. As we reverence the Archetype, our Lord Jesus Christ in his holy icons, we also honor our fellow human beings, who are made to be icons of the Living God.”
