A Divine Liturgy was performed at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Saviour in Coventry on the Second Sunday of Lent.
Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain presided over the service along with Bishop Maximos of Melitene.
The Archimandrite Christodoulos Kokliotis, the hierarchical Head of the Church, Protopresbyter Theodoros Polyvios, and the Archdeacon Georgios Tsourous also concelebrated the Divine Liturgy.
In his sermon, the Archbishop referred to the power of the faith of the people who surround us, which can transform us and make us partakers of the miracle, as happened with the paralytic of the Gospel Cut.
After the Divine Liturgy, a treat followed in the church hall and an official meal.
