Archbishop Ieronymos of Athens and all Greece is visiting the Ecumenical Patriarchate today, Monday, June 10, in order to wish to Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew for his name day tomorrow.
Archbishop Ieronymos, accompanied by Metropolitans Nicholas of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki and David of Grevena, his Protosyncellus, Bishop Symeon of Thespies, the Chief Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, Archimandrite Philotheos Theocharis, and the president of the Brotherhood Of The Officials Of The Holy Great Church Of Christ “Panagia Pammakaristos”, Gerasimos Fokas, was received with cordiality by Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew.

Upon his arrival at the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece said to media representatives that “we are coming today, on the occasion of the name day of our Patriarch. We wish God gives him the power to continue his blessed work.”
This afternoon the Archbishop of Athens and his escort will attend the Great Vesper for tomorrow’s celebration of the memory of the Holy Apostles Bartholomew and Barnabas, where the Ecumenical Patriarch will officiate at the Church of the Life-Giving Font of the Theotokos in Balikli.
