Archbishop Chrysostomos of Cyprus presided over the Vespers Service in commemoration of Saint John Chrysostom at the Church of Saint John the Theologian in Nicosia on Thursday the 12th of November 2020.
Metropolitans Nektarios of Kition, Chrysostomos of Kyrenia, Vasileios of Constantia and Ammochostos, and Bishops Christoforos of Karpasia, Leontios of Kytros, Porphyrios of Neapolis, Gregorios of Mesaoria concelebrated the Vespers Service. Exarchs of the Patriarchates of Alexandria and Jerusalem, as well as Bishop Nikodemos of Nitria, and Metropolitan Timotheos of Bostra also attended the service. The psalters of the church sang the hymns of the service.
After the end of the Vespers Service, a procession took place at the Holy Archdiocese of Cyprus, where psalters sang in honour of the Archbishop of Cyprus, to whom many people wished all the best on his name day.
