The Ministry of Interior of Ukraine has officially placed Patriarch Kirill of Moscow on the wanted list, as stated on the Ukrainian ministry’s website.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian Security Service has pressed charges against the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, accusing him of fostering conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Consequently, he has been listed as wanted by the ministry.
Described by Ukrainian authorities as “evading interrogation services,” the Russian patriarch has been marked as “missing” since November 11. Vladimir Legoida, a spokesperson for the Moscow Patriarchate, condemned this action by Ukrainian authorities, calling it “both ridiculous and anticipated” in a statement to the Russian news agency Ria.
