“We all know the state of the Greek economy. They have problems. Despite the problems, they started an equipment campaign at the cost of reducing the food, clothing, and salary of every Greek citizen. Buy as many aircraft as you want, as many submarines, as many ships as you want. They are not enough for you. They are not enough,” said Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar in a speech during a visit to Libya as reported by kathimerini.gr.
Hulusi Akar once again blamed Athens and claimed that “our Greek neighbors are taking provocative actions, taking provocative steps and increasing the tension in the region. And they cover up what they are doing and hide our efforts for dialogue, for peaceful methods that are in line with international law.”
