The Metropolis of Aksum made an announcement about the passing of Eleftherios Georgalis, President of the Greek Community of Djibouti.

“Metropolitan of Aksum Daniel and all the Christians of our Local Church, express their deepest condolences to the family of the deceased, his wife and children, the brothers Nikolaos and Georgios Georgalis, the members of their families and the Greek Community in Djibouti, with the prayer that the Leader of Life, our Lord Jesus Christ, may his soul rest in peace.
The Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Aksum, grateful for the multi-year contribution of the late benefactor President Eleftherios Georgalis to the Church of Saints Constantine and Helen and the Greek Community, will announce official commemorative events and hold a Memorial Service.
May his memory be eternal!”
