With the blessing of the Head of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia, the youth organization “Davitianni” under the Georgian Patriarchate, issued a statement on the mobilisation of humanitarian aid for Ukrainians.
First of all, he calls on those who wish to help, to collect specific types of products in parishes, so that later the Georgian Patriarchate can take care of sending them “to our Ukrainian brothers”.

With the blessing of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia, the youth movement of the Patriarchate of Georgia, with the initiative and organization of “Davitianni” starts from Sunday, February 27 the collection for the humanitarian aid in all the Holy Churches of Tbilisi.
In agreement with the clergy, the gathering of non-perishable products (cereals, oil, flour, water, etc.), as well as first aid medicine to provide humanitarian aid to the Ukrainians, will begin.
The place of food gathering in the Holy Dioceses will be determined by the local High Priest.
