Ambassador Anastasios Mitsialis, who was recently appointed by the Greek Government as the new Civil Administrator of Mount Athos, paid a visit to the seat of the Ecumenical Patriarchate today, Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
During the visit, the new Administrator paid his respects to the Ecumenical Patriarch, seeking his patriarchal blessing for his diverse responsibilities. The Patriarch conveyed his wishes for a fruitful tenure on Mount Athos, which was in the past under the jurisdiction of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
