Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, at the invitation of the President of the Turkish Republic, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is going this afternoon, Tuesday, October 29, in Ankara, to attend a reception for the national holiday at the Presidential Palace, along with the other religious leaders of the country.
During his brief visit to the Turkish capital, the Ecumenical Patriarch will be accompanied by Metropolitan Irenaios of Myriophytos and Peristasis, with whom he will return late at night to the Holy Great Church of Christ.
