The memorial service for Ioannis Chariatidou, the former Archon Lambadarios, who fell asleep in the Lord on September 6, was held solemnly on Tuesday afternoon, September 10.
Elder Metropolitan Dimitrios of Princes Islands officiated the funeral liturgy accompanied by Metropolitans Stefanos of Kallioupolis and Madytos and Maximos of Silyvria.
Mr. Nifon delivered the eulogy.
The Ecumenical Patriarch was prayerfully attending in the altar. Metropolitans Apostolos of Derkoi, Meliton of Philadelphia Athinagoras of Kydonies, Amphilochios of Adrianople, Bartholomew of Smyrna, Bishop Adrianos of Halicarnassus, the relatives of the late Archon, clergy of the Patriarchal Court, of the Holy Archdiocese of Constantinople, Archons of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and students and friends of the late Archon, and hundreds of the faithful attended the memorial service.
