According to Romfea.gr in their conversation with Archbishop Chrysostomos, the young trainees had the opportunity to hear the experience of the Primate of the Church of Cyprus in the field of diplomacy, which is the fruit of his long-standing offer and interest in the island’s national issue.
In the end, the Archbishop distributed to all these young people a limited edition collection of images of the Byzantine Museum of the Archdiocese, in memory of their visit to Cyprus and especially to its religious center, the Holy Archdiocese.
Apart from the Archdiocese of Cyprus and the Byzantine Museum next to it, during this short visit to Cyprus, the members of the Diplomatic Academy have held and will hold official visits to the political and military authorities of Cyprus, as well as to the Embassy of Greece.
This year, the Diplomatic Academy completes 20 years of life and functions as an independent unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece under the direct responsibility of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
