Archbishop Elpidophoros of America, together with Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco, traveled to Denver, Colorado on July 29, 2023, where the hierarchs visited Metropolitan Isaiah of Denver, who is recovering from a recent injury.
The Archbishop commented: “It always brings me great joy to see my dear elder brother, Metropolitan Isaiah, who is in great spirits and under the expert care of his physicians, who are confident that he will recover swiftly. I assured the Metropolitan [Isaiah] that he has the prayers of all his brother hierarchs, and indeed, those of all the clergy and the devout laity of our Sacred Archdiocese of America.”
Archbishop Elpidophoros and Metropolitan Gerasimos return to Las Vegas where they will celebrate the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, July 30.
Archbishop Elpidophoros of America has been in Las Vegas, Nevada where he was present for the supreme convention of AHEPA, in addition to conducting an archpastoral visit to the community of Saint John the Baptist.
