The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the Russian attacks on Ukraine that cost the lives of ten Greek expatriates, according to the spokesperson of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alexandros Papaioannou, who spoke on SKAI TV channel.
He stressed that it is unacceptable for civilians to be killed and reiterated that the Russian ambassador in Athens will be summoned to the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
Mr. Papaioannou highlighted that Athens has proof that what the Russian Embassy claimed yesterday, is false. It is recalled that the Embassy argued that in the outskirts of the village of Sartana, where Greek expatriates fell dead, no Russian forces were operating.
“Orthodox bombs killed Orthodox expatriates. Keep that in mind. And what the Russian embassy said, is fake news. “We have proof,” underlined the spokesperson for the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
