In the monastery of the Pec Patriarchate the patron saint day of the monastery – the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God, was solemnly celebrated.
With the blessing of Patriarch Irinej of Serbia, the Holy Liturgy was officiated by Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren with the concelebration of Bishops Kiril of Buenos Aires and South-Central America and Stefan of Remesiana, Vicar Bishop of the Patriarch, as well as of twenty priests from several dioceses of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
In the fullchurch of Holy Apostles and with the chanting of the choir Saint Stephen of Decani from Novi Sad, Bishop Teodosije ordained deacon Jovan Radic, Professor of the Theological Seminary of Prizren, as presbyter. Revd. Radic will be a new parish priest of Prizren at the Cathedral church of Saint George.
At the end of the Liturgy, Bishop Stefan blessed the slava cake and broke it with celebrants, abbess of the Pec Patriarchate Mother Haritina and Dr. Goran Bojovic.
